Dubai-based media house is hiring. A Dubai-based publishing firm is looking for Online Reporters for its website. The primary responsibility of the job is to create, edit and enhance the display of online content. This involves editing stories from the newspaper and placing them online, selecting and subbing copy from the newswires, and writing some original stories. There will also be an emphasis on developing multimedia and interactive content for the website throughout the week. Candidates should have an excellent grasp of English, a solid knowledge of journalism, and an interest in business and consumer news. Familiarity with web development technologies is desirable. The role also calls for strong problem solving skills, flexibility to evolving responsibilities and changing environment. Prior experience (2-4 years) is required.
