   I live in Discovery Gardens too and I have informed the security company and Nakheel many times but there has been no reply. There should be a serious action regarding this issue, it is unhealthy and dangerous especially for children.

   It’s hard to believe that we have some thing called as rat menace in one of the famous localities of Jumeirah Beach Residence. As such, rat menace is a never-ending nuisance across residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural lands. They creep in at every possible corner, causing damages to the human kind directly as well as indirectly. The menace affects a large section of the people across the world. Black droppings, torn papers scattered around on the floor, partially eaten vegetables and fruits in the kitchen, well-maintained garden getting messed up are signs which indicate the presence of rats in the vicinity. Rats and rodents do not spare residences, offices, factories and other commercial and industrial complexes. They create health problems that could even result in death. Ease of reach of food, garbage, unfinished compost, animal faeces, insects and plants is the chief the reason for rat invasion. Rats and rodents dig holes in the walls, ceilings, etc. Any kind of protection to prevent them from entering the territory is useless. Perhaps the most practical way to deal with such pests is to seek the help of the professionals, meaning the pest control operators.

   Well, I’m staying in Discovery Gardens, a newly developed colony. I’ve also seen a lot of rats here. I stay on the eighth floor and am fed up with rats. I don’t know where they come from but they can be found on the ceiling. I’ve reported the issue many times to the pest control company, but no relief yet.
